2. Installation of Internet and testing at Corporate, Residence, Schools and other organizations to ensure that they are working properly.
3. Repair fiber optics systems and ensure that they work properly.
4. Supervising the Linesman / Helper.
5. Examine and replace faulty and old fiber optic cables.
6. Measuring the Optical signal strength at Passive Ends.
7. Conducting surveys at Hotels and other corporate customers.
8. Perform scheduled maintenance of devices.
9. Using Splicing Machine for joining the Fiber cores and take care of fiber Splicing Machine and other tools.
10. Execute indoor as well as outdoor cabling and take care of the underground cabling requirements.
11. Managing the optical power at devices using couplers and cassette at site.
12. Provide the system records and system designs.
13. Tagging the devices at field and updating at Office.
14. Documenting and reporting on work completed.
15. Checking the devices such as OLT, EDFA, Transmitter, Master, Node etc.
16. Manage the joints such as Enclosure, Bamboo and Tiffin.
17. Locating faults and mobilizing resources within minimal time to counter fault.

• Entering customer and account data from source documents within time limits
• Compiling, verifying accuracy and sorting information to prepare source data for computer entry
• Reviewing data for deficiencies or errors, correcting any incompatibilities and checking output

The ideal candidate will be self-motived whilst being able to support your team, ambitious and eager to learn as no two days are the same, and must be IT literate and comfortable using an online database. You’ll be confident when meeting internal and external customer requirements, organised when managing your own workload, and brilliant at communicating when building long-term relationships with customers and suppliers.

• Excellent IT skills with a good understanding of Excel and Word.
• Understanding of IT and Internet would be an advantage.

Previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous but not essential.

• Manage broadcast servers, focusing on the CAS, maintain network connections to Subscriber Management System
